After detailed development of the project, in August 2011 KronSegler received the mandatory authorization for the production of a series of watches under the auspices of the Vatican Observatory (Specola Vaticana - Vatican Observatory Foundation), each watch carrying the Foundation logo.
The desire of the Foundation is to make these watches accessible to the Christians worldwide.
A significant portion of the proceeds from the sale of the watches will be used by the Vatican Observatory Foundation for education and research initiatives.
KronSegler as a medium Saxony based company is especially proud to produce "SACRISTAN" with the official approval of the Vatican Observatory Foundation and dedicate it to the lifetime achievement and work of Pope Benedict XVI. (Benedictus PP.XVI, Joseph Aloysius Ratzinger).
