The term Monolith comes from Greek and means a single piece of stone. And that's how you should image this FORTIS design classic that has already proven its functions not just here on earth, but out in space too. As well as the Greek meaning, it was important for FORTIS that the depth and breadth of space, in all its blackness, was also brought together on face with the 638.18.31 Monolith Chronograph. This depth is symbolised not only by the dial with its green illuminating indices, but also the black PVD housing and the black wristbands. As well as these symbols, the Monolith Chronograph also of course has a unidirectional turning bezel, anti-reflective glass, and classical chronography. This legendary Cosmonautis watch is driven using the tried-and-tested ETA-7750.
