SLIMLINE PERPETUAL CALENDAR MANUFACTURE DESIGNED BY PETER SPEAKE
In witness of their ongoing friendship, for the second year running British watchmaker Peter Speake and Geneva Manufactory Frederique Constant have just unveiled a limited edition born from their partnership. The exceptional piece, destined for demanding collectors, features a sophisticated complication: the perpetual calendar.
The perpetual calendar is one of the most prestigious complications in Fine Watchmaking, allowing all calendar information to be read off in a single glance. It also takes into account the various changes during and between years; no adjustment is required between months with 30 or 31 days, or for February in leap years.
This rare timepiece, of which just 35 will be made, comes in a full black style encompassing the case, strap, and openwork dial, all the better to highlight the inner workings of the FC-775 manufacture movement. Featuring satin-polished components, blued screws and a sapphire crystal caseback, fine Geneva workmanship accompanies British audacity here in a watch that's as rare as it's contemporary - the very essence of High Watchmaking.
